The paper makes a case for the inclusion of indigenous African counselling practices in 21st Century practices. seeming absence theoretical underpinning practice, especially within Ghanaian ecosystem is addressed, together with what constitutes guidance and counselling. Additionally, tools available uses by counsellor are scrutinized, situations that precipitate settings. merits demerits also examined. concludes an advocacy certain elements modern day delivery setting.
